did you know that....
the Blues Brothers started of on the American comedy show Saturday night live. They were John Belushi as Jake Blues and Dan Aykroyd as his brother Elwood Blues. They did comedy sketches and sang blues songs. In 1980 the film The Blues Brothers was made by Universal City Studios. Dan Aykroyd & John Landis wrote it. And John Landis directed it. When it was made it cost around million. The movie features performances from James Brown, Cab Calloway, Ray Charles, and Aretha Franklin. And co-stars John Candy, Carrie Fisher, Henry Gibson and Steve Lawrence.
